Vabíën-cîkêyê Dêtîkè (/θèˈdalɪ/ /cɪˈkɘjɘ/ [round; blunt] [fatigue]) is a subtropical Town located in the Qíîsîrêyê Sêpíêto Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Vabíën-cîkêyê Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Vabíën-cîkêyê Dêtîkè was founded by Bore Worms Zesmesê, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Vabíën-cîkêyê Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 25°C (77°F). Vabíën-cîkêyê Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Vabíën-cîkêyê Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Vabíën-cîkêyê Dêtîkè is buildings are arranged arround a single narrow baked earthen mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Vabíën-cîkêyê Dêtîkè's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. The town's monster and outlaw focused fortifications have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

A look around Vabíën-cîkêyê Dêtîkè gives you a feeling of distrust and paranoia. Also greed. The locals seem to be very much into scholastic pursuits, based on the hushed, murmured conversations you hear at least. Everyone in Vabíën-cîkêyê Dêtîkè acts like they have discovered something wondrous, and are worried they will endure some horrible fate so another can take what they’ve discovered for themselves.

Cultural Notes

Two or more groups of citizens within Vabíën-cîkêyê Dêtîkè hate each other. Their neighbors or the local law have kept things from too-overt violence, but members of the groups will constantly interfere with their rivals and cause whatever misery they can get away with. This hate may spring from recent events, or it may be an inherited spite from old wrongs.

Vabíën-cîkêyê Dêtîkè's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used embraces individualism and experimentation. It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.
